Cheapest Way to get to Clark Airport (DMIA)

This post is to help others who want to save money from the unstoppable fare increased lately.
3 months ago I checked with Philtranco the fare going to Clark. It was P350 well not bad but little expensive for me.


I googled some information about DMIA and I learned that I can take the bus from Cubao going to Dau terminal in Pampanga.


Here's what I did;


I took the Five Star Bus at Cubao bound to Dau Terminal . The fare is P98.00 non aircon while aircon is P130 not much of difference. Last trip to Dau is 11pm the earliest is 2am.By the way I took the 12am bus.


Travel Time 1 hour and a half no traffic since it was past midnight.


From Dau Terminal I walked towards the Hi-way.I crossed the street and rode the jeepney bound to Hi-Way. Fare is P8. It was a very short ride about 300 to 400 meters only. The jeepney stopped in front of a mini plaza.The landmark is 7/11.I asked the driver to dropped me at Clark jeepney terminal.


Besides 7/11 there were jeepneys bound to DMIA. Fare is fixed according to the driver P250 one way.So we just opt to rent the jeep.
P250 divided into 3 peeps.

Total Expenses:
P98 Five Star bus
P8   Jeepney to Hi Way
P83 Fare going to DMIA

Total of P189.00 it can be lower down depending of number of pax shaing on the jeepney


Remember:
DMIA is ot a 24 hours airport I arrived around 2am took and took a nap outside. The gate opens at 4am just in time for my 6:10 am flight.
